Bringing together more than 11 million festival-goers, the 20th edition of Maroc Telecom’s “Festival des Plages” was a grand finale

Maroc Telecom successfully closed the 20th edition of the “Festival des Plages”, an event that has become a must in the Moroccan cultural landscape.
From July 13 to August 21, 2024, the festival rocked the beaches of M’diq, Al Hoceima, Martil, Tangier, Saïdia and Nador, attracting a record crowd of more than 11 million spectators who came to enjoy free concerts and exceptional artistic performances. This anniversary edition was marked by memorable shows, a festive atmosphere that captivated a large and diverse audience and great moments of emotion during the evenings organized during the Throne Festival, the anniversary of the Revolution of the King and People and the Youth Festival.
Throughout the festival, no fewer than 113 concerts were organized, bringing together enthusiastic crowds from all over the country and beyond. Nearly 200 local, national and international artists, from various musical backgrounds, lit up the stages set up on the beaches, offering a program covering all genres of urban and popular music (Hip Hop, Rap, Fusion, Moroccan Song, Amazigh, Chaabi and Contemporary, Sharqui music, Raï, Reggada).
This cultural event, which has become a must over the years, offered much more than concerts. In addition to musical performances, festival-goers were able to attend street shows and take part in creative workshops. Children were also pampered, with entertainment villages specially designed for them (trampolines, painting workshops, etc.) making the festival a real space for sharing for all.
Beyond the pleasure it offers and its commitment to culture, Maroc Telecom’s “Festival des Plages” also plays a crucial role in boosting the local economy, contributing to the activity of coastal towns during the summer period.
