Jazouli: “The project requests received by MASEN concern different regions”

The 40 requests for green hydrogen projects received by the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN) concern the different regions of the Kingdom, affirmed, Thursday in Rabat, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli.
In a statement to the press following the meeting of the Steering Committee responsible for “The Moroccan offer” for green hydrogen, held under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, Mr. Jazouli stressed that “offers from all over the world have been received in this context, notably from the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Morocco in particular.”
The minister explained that these offers, which number around 40, concern the different regions of the Kingdom, from North to South, adding that the meeting of the steering committee made it possible to review the process of selecting project requests, in particular the criteria adopted in order to choose the initial requests which will be selected in the coming weeks.
The Steering Committee responsible for the “Morocco offer” for green hydrogen, which is part of the Vision of King Mohammed VI, approved Morocco’s offer in terms of green hydrogen, said the official, recalling that the Sovereign had given His High Directives to accelerate the implementation of Morocco’s offer in this area.
The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, chaired a meeting of the steering committee responsible for the “Morocco offer” for green hydrogen in application of the High Directives of King Mohammed VI calling for the rapid and qualitative implementation of this offer, in order to promote the assets that Morocco has in this area and to best respond to the projects supported by global investors in this promising sector.
