The South Giza Criminal Court sentenced Mahraganat singer Issam Sassa and his brother to one year in prison.
He also sentenced in absentia the second and third defendants to 10 years in prison in a case of forgery of a power of attorney.
This came after Egyptian festival singer Issam Sasa appeared in a prisoner’s costume with “clamps” and with his hair shaved “meri” – that is, with a light shade, which is number one – at the Giza Criminal Court, which was held in Zeinhom today, Thursday, amid accusations against him and his brother of falsifying a real estate power of attorney for someone.
Earlier, the South Giza prosecutor referred Issam Sasa, the festival singer, his brother and others, to a criminal trial, for forging powers of attorney to appoint a lawyer for “The First” after he traveled outside the country following the public prosecutor’s decision to release him on bail of 30,000 pounds, ordering his arrest and bringing him after receiving the medical report. He was found guilty of consuming drugs while driving his car.
