Organizers of the Venice International Film Festival have decided to take special measures to avoid any awkward encounters between estranged stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Alberto Balbera, artistic director of the Valencia Festival, said that efforts had been made to determine the dates for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to appear.

Brad Pitt is expected to arrive in the city on Saturday, two days after Jolie leaves, insisting there is no chance they will meet.
