Ministry of Health launches second series of meetings with representatives of the pharmaceutical sector

The Directorate of Medicines and Pharmacy of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has launched the second round of a series of meetings with representatives of the pharmaceutical sector, starting on August 29.
A press release from the ministry indicates, today Friday, that the new Office of Pharmaceutical Contracts in Morocco (LEMM) was received as part of this tour, indicating that this meeting is part of the continuation of the participatory policy led by the Directorate with different representatives of the pharmaceutical sector in Morocco, and under the direction of the Minister of Health and Social Protection.
He added that the meeting focused mainly on strengthening the modalities of cooperation between the two parties to ensure pharmaceutical security, considered a fundamental pillar for the success of the great royal project in the field of comprehensive health coverage.
The importance of encouraging research and development in the pharmaceutical field to develop innovative drugs that contribute to strengthening the hospital arsenal of the national health system was also highlighted, according to the same source.
The communication indicates that both parties agreed that the entry into force of the Moroccan Agency for Medicines and Health Products would constitute a qualitative step towards strengthening good governance in the medicine and health products sector.
