The wave of high prices continues to affect a group of vital consumer goods in Moroccan markets, which arouses concern among consumers, who each time appeal to the Ministry of the Interior, in order to find effective solutions to contain the “abusive prices”.
Consumer protection associations in Morocco have called on the Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, as well as the Competition Council, to intervene to put an end to practices that eliminate fair competition and lead to monopoly and price increases, with demands for the sustainability of control campaigns carried out by the committees responsible for controlling prices and the quality of food products.
They stressed that the work of the aforementioned commissions must continue throughout the year, and not only on special occasions, betting on their role in controlling prices and limiting their inflation.
