A citizen who was robbed while staying at a listed hotel in the city of Nador revealed the details of the incident in a complaint he filed with the president of the Eastern Regional Tourism Council. He explained that the crime occurred in broad daylight when an unknown person broke into the hotel room where he was staying with his family, taking advantage of their outing for lunch.
According to the complaint, a variety of personal items were stolen, including a bag containing clothing, identification, bank and business cards, as well as a laptop, cell phone, camera, medication and other items.
Although he notified the hotel reception immediately after discovering the theft, the management’s response was late and not serious, prompting him to contact the police. Security personnel went to the hotel and witnessed the incident, described as a precedent in the history of the hotel and the city.
The victim concluded his complaint by demanding financial compensation and the return of the stolen items, stressing the need for the hotel management to issue an official apology due to the negative impact of this incident on tourism and security in the region.
