Thanks to recent rainfall, the filling rate of the dams in the Malwiya basin is 23.01%

Yesterday, Saturday, August 31, 2024, the Ministry of Equipment and Water revealed the state of the dams under the influence of the Moulouya Basin, which are the dams that supply the Eastern region with drinking water, as well as the total filling of the six regions. The dams reached 183.44 million cubic meters, or 23.01% of the total filling rate of these dams, an increase that does not exceed 0.53%.
In the same context, the filling rate of the Mohammed V dam reached 9.39%, with a water volume reaching 22.43 million cubic meters, specifying that the volume of the regular dam is 239 million cubic meters, and that at the Oued Za dam, the filling rate reached 99.52%, with a water volume reaching 94.43 million cubic meters while the normal volume of the dam is the same as 94.89.
The filling rate of the Hassan II Dam was 13.01%, with a water volume reaching 51.05 million cubic meters, specifying that the volume of the regular dam is 392.3 million cubic meters, while the filling rate of the Injel Dam was 36.18%, with the water volume reaching 4.56 million cubic meters, noting that the volume of the regular dam is 12.62 million cubic meters.
At Mashra’ Hammadi Dam, the filling rate reached 66.15%, with the water volume reaching 5.38 million cubic meters, noting that the volume of the normal dam is 8.06 million cubic meters. At Tamalout Dam, the filling rate reached 11.14%, with the water volume reaching 5.62 million cubic meters, noting that the volume of the regular dam is 50.48 million cubic meters.
