Late at night, they are forced to look for transport to the on-call pharmacy to buy the necessary treatment.
The activist of the “Mohamed Al-Wardi” association called for holding the director of the hospital, the regional delegate and the Minister of Health responsible, who act contrary to the royal directives, according to what he said, because the regional hospital is experiencing serious humanitarian conditions and a total lack of medicines, especially at the level of the emergency department, which has only one doctor assigned to more than 600,000 people.
At the same time, residents decried the delay in completing the new Silwan Regional Hospital, which has reached about 40 percent in just 7 years, and placed the blame for the deterioration of the health situation in the region on parliamentarians who have become unable to advocate seriously, and on the government and the Ministry of Health, which pay no attention to the health sector in the region.
