High holiday costs.. “Amor” is wanted in Parliament

The Party of Progress and Socialism has called for discussing the issue of the government’s management of high prices for accommodation and tourist services during the summer holidays.

Representative Rashid Hamouni, head of the Progress and Socialism team in the House of Representatives, asked the head of the Productive Sectors Committee to hold a meeting of the committee to discuss the issue of how the government will deal with the high prices of accommodation and tourism services during the summer holidays, which the party describes as obscene.

The Progress and Socialism team in the House of Representatives requested the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatima Zahraa Ammor.

This comes at a time when there is widespread talk of the outrageous prices that have hit many areas related to summer vacations, including the increase in rental prices for accommodation and the concomitant increase in the prices of meals and tourist services, particularly in cities that are experiencing a large influx of Moroccans.
