The increase in train prices…a “controversy” that is moving to Parliament
Heba Press/. Rabat
The parliamentary representative of the Federation of the Democratic Left, Fatima Al-Tamani, addressed a written question to the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdel Jalil, on the successive increases in the price of train tickets in Morocco.
Al-Tamani asked the minister for clarification on these continuous increases, recalling the deterioration of the services provided by the National Railways Office, through the repeated delay of trains beyond their scheduled schedules and the poor condition of most of them.
Al-Tami asked Muhammad Abdel-Jalil “about the measures that the government intends to take to deal with these increases, which are considered a drain on the purchasing power of citizens, in the face of the continuous increase in many materials.”
