National Security agents in the city of Beni Ansar, in coordination with local authorities, were able, on Tuesday evening, September 3, to thwart a massive attempt at illegal immigration and arrest 72 Moroccan nationals seeking immigration.
A security report indicates that the national security services monitored social media posts inciting the implementation of a massive illegal immigration operation from the city of Beni Ansar, which required preventive operations that resulted in the arrest of 72 would-be immigrants among the participants in the attempt to commit these criminal acts.
The same source added that the adult suspects were subjected to the necessary judicial procedures, while the minor detainees were handed over to their guardians, while research and investigations are still ongoing to uncover the real backgrounds of the commission of these criminal acts.
This security operation, the report notes, is part of the strict measures and intensified efforts deployed by the security services to combat illegal immigration and trafficking.
