Thursday weather: rain showers expected in several regions of the Kingdom

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Thursday, thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusts of wind on the heights of the Atlas and its neighboring western slopes, the southeast of the country, as well as the south of the eastern region.

The weather is also expected to be cloudy at times in the southeastern and northeastern regions, with the possibility of very light raindrops falling on the northern and southern Atlantic coasts. Fog masses will form, morning and evening, over the Atlantic Ocean plains and the northwestern and southern regions.

The weather will be relatively hot in the northern and central interior plains, Wadi Malwiya and the southeast, as well as in the southern regions, in addition to a local dispersion of dust in the south and southeast of the Kingdom. It should also be noted that fairly strong gusts of wind will be recorded in the south of the Eastern region, the Atlas highlands, and the southeast of the country, in addition to the southern coasts.

Minimum temperatures will range between 12 and 19 degrees both in the Atlantic and Mediterranean highlands and in the countryside, and between 24 and 30 degrees in the extreme southeast of the country and the northeast of the southern regions, and will be between 17 and 23 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. Temperatures will increase during the day in the northern and central plains as well as in the northeast region.

As for the sea, it will be calm to a little rough on the Mediterranean coast, and gradually rough on the rest of the coast.
