18 thousand new teachers and 189 new establishments. Benmoussa reviews the evolution of the school season

The Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, reviewed the efforts made by his ministry to expand the school offer.

In his presentation at the press conference held on Friday morning to shed light on the evolution of school admissions in Rabat, Benmoussa revealed that 189 new establishments will open their doors this academic year, stressing that the total number of educational establishments now stands at 12,300 educational establishments.

The minister added that the number of departments has been increased through the addition of 3,500 new rooms to reduce overcrowding within the departments, and the creation of 15 new boarding schools, in addition to the enrollment of 18,000 new teachers in educational institutions to keep pace with efforts to increase school supply, reduce overcrowding and combat school waste.
