Very heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusts of wind under thunderstorms are expected from Friday to Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, announced the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Thus, very heavy thunderstorms (70-120 mm) are expected from Friday at 6 p.m. to Sunday at 11 p.m. in the provinces of Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, Ouarzazate and Tata, specified the DGM in a warning bulletin with a “red” level of vigilance. The same phenomenon with an orange level of vigilance (30–70 mm) is expected from Friday at 6 p.m. to Sunday at 11 p.m. in the provinces of Assa-Zag, Taroudant, Midelt, Es-Semara, Figuig, Azilal, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Tiznit, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni and Al Haouz.
