Benmoussa: The census is a national process and the participation of professors will not affect the departments
Heba Press – Rabat
The Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, defended the participation of educational and administrative staff in the census process.
In his speech at the press conference held on Friday morning to shed light on the evolution of schooling, Benmoussa stressed that the census is a national process, noting that teachers have always been one of the executives who help the High Commission to plan the implementation of this process, given their training, skills and presence on the ground.
Benmoussa added that the number of educational and administrative staff participating in this process amounts to 17,000, which represents 30 percent of the total participants, indicating that their absence in the classrooms will not affect the entry into school or the school time of students, especially after resorting to temporary leave and local solutions during this period.
Regarding the electronic tables used in the census process, the governor revealed that the ministry financed them through an agreement with the delegation, stressing that after the census process, these tables will be returned to the regional delegations to be used in the teaching process.
