E-sport: PUBG Nations Cup 2024, from September 6 to 8 in Seoul

The PUBG Nations Cup 2024 will be held from Friday to Sunday in Seoul, hosted by Korean video game development company Krafton, according to Korean news agency Yonhap.
The tournament, which will be held at the Kyung Hee University Campus in Seoul, will feature 16 national teams competing in the company’s multiplayer battle royale game PUBG: Battlegrounds, the source said, noting that Team Korea will defend its title against the United Kingdom, Vietnam, China and Canada.
The competition will be the main event of the first edition of the Game Esports Seoul festival, organized by the capital’s municipal government, which will also feature tournaments for amateur players, demonstration terminals of games developed in Seoul, musical performances and conferences.
A prize of $300,000 plus 25% of the proceeds from souvenir sales will be distributed among all participating teams based on their final ranking. All 16 teams will play 18 games together, and the team with the most points, awarded based on their ranking in each game and their number of kills, will be crowned champion.
