Ouarzazate: Rain causes houses to collapse and streets turn into puddles

It has been learned that the heavy rains that hit the city of Ouarzazate today, Friday, caused the collapse of three houses.

It has also been confirmed from informed sources that torrential rains have flooded alleys and streets, many of which have turned into pools of water.

The same sources indicated that rainwater seeped into homes, while some mud-brick buildings collapsed, without causing any casualties or human damage.

In addition, it was learned that local authorities intervened to evacuate many homes, with civil protection officers able to evict residents from their homes.
