Saturday weather: rain showers expected in several regions of the Kingdom

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Saturday, that the weather conditions in general will be characterized by local thunderstorms and hailstones falling on the southeast, the northeast of the desert regions of the Kingdom, the Anti-Atlas, as well as the south of the eastern region.

Thunderstorms will form, accompanied by scattered drops or some showers, in the Grand Atlas and the Mediterranean, their eastern slopes and the northeastern region, with raindrops accompanied by scattered thunder falling on the region of Tangier, the western countryside and the Locus, and it is possible that they will hit the northern and central coasts during the coming night.

Fairly strong wind gusts are also expected in the eastern region, in the Atlas, in the northern desert regions and locally in the northern and central regions.

Minimum temperatures will range between 13 and 18 degrees in the Atlas highlands and the eastern highlands, and between 22 and 28 degrees in the plains west of the Atlas, in the Souss region, Oued Moulouya and the desert regions of the northeast, and will be between 17 and 23 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.

Temperatures will drop during the day in most parts of the Kingdom.

As for the sea, it will be calm to a little rough on the Mediterranean front, and a little rough on the rest of the coast.
