Paris Paralympic Games.. Morocco’s Ezzedine Nouiri wins silver in shot put

Today, Saturday, September 7, Moroccan Ezzedine Nouiri won the silver medal in the shot put (P34) in the athletics competition, as part of the Paris Paralympic Games, whose competitions will end tomorrow Sunday.
Al-Nuwairi won the medal after recording 11.70m, just one centimetre ahead of Colombian Valencia Mauricio, who achieved 11.71m.
The bronze medal went to Jordanian Ahmed Hindi (11.66 m).
Al-Nuwairi said in a press statement that his goal was to give Morocco a second gold medal and that he worked hard to achieve it, expressing his regrets for losing it one centimeter from the first.
Al-Nouiri expressed his joy at winning this silver medal, which will strengthen Morocco’s record, wishing good luck to the rest of the Moroccan athletes.
This medal is the ninth for Morocco at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, after the bronze medals of runner Ayman El Haddaoui in the 100m in the T47 category, Ayoub Adwish in the under 63kg category in the K44 category, Raja Akramash in the over 65kg weight category in the same category in parataekwondo, and Saida Amoudi in the shot put in the F-34 category, runner Fatima Al-Zahraa Al-Idrissi won silver in the 1500m in the (T13) category, Abdel. -Ilah Kani won silver in the shot put, and Yousra Karim won the discus throw in the (F41) category, and Moncef Bouja won gold in the 400m in the (T12) category.
