Warning bulletin: very strong storms in several regions of the Kingdom
The General Directorate of Meteorology indicated that very strong thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and gusts of wind, are expected from today Saturday until tomorrow Sunday in several regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in a warning bulletin of the “red” alert level, that this phenomenon (60 – 100 mm) is expected today Saturday, from eight o’clock in the evening until eleven o’clock in the evening tomorrow, Sunday. in each of the prefectures and provinces of Figuig, Errachidia, Zagora and Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Tata.
The same source adds that the same phenomenon (20-50 mm) will also affect Assa Al-Zag and Samara, today Saturday, from eight o’clock in the evening until eleven o’clock in the evening the same day.
In an alert bulletin of alert level “orange”, the General Directorate of Meteorology added that thunderstorm rains (30-60 mm) will affect the prefectures and provinces of Taroudant, Midelt, Azilal, Al Haouz and Jerada, today Saturday at eight o’clock in the evening, until tomorrow, Sunday noon.
She explained that the same phenomenon (30-60 mm) is also expected in Guelmim, Sidi Ifni and Tiznit, today Saturday, from eight in the evening until eleven in the evening the same day.
The Directorate noted that this phenomenon (15-30 mm) is also expected in Larache and Tetouan, tomorrow Sunday, from midnight to nine in the morning, and is also expected in Ifrane, Boulmane and Sefrou, tomorrow Sunday, from two in the afternoon until ten in the evening.
