The under-20 women’s team suffered another defeat against their Spanish counterparts, in the national team’s third match at the World Cup, where the confrontation ended with two unanswered goals in favor of Spain.
During the match, the national team presented a cautious performance and was not able to keep up with the Spanish offensive power, as Spain opened the scoring in the first half through the player Aparicio in the fifth minute, and doubled the score in the second half. Thanks to Lucia Moral, in the penultimate minute of regulation time, the Lionesses’ journey ended without any victory or goal in this tournament.
