Nabil Ayouch’s “Everybody loves Touda” represents Morocco at the 2025 Oscars

The feature film “Everybody loves Touda”, directed by Nabil Ayouch, has been chosen to represent Morocco at the 2025 Oscars, in the “Best International Film” section, announces the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM).
“Everybody loves Touda” was selected by a committee chaired by Tariq Khalami, representing the CCM, and including among its members the producer Souad Lamriki, the producer and director Layla Triqui, the producer and director Asmae El Moudir, the producer and director Driss Mrini, the producer, director and actor Driss Roukhe and the director of the international festival, Zine El Abidine Charafeddine, the CCM specifies in a press release.
In addition to Nabil Ayouch’s feature film, six other candidate films were submitted to this commission. These are “The Oasis of Frozen Waters” by Raouf Sebbahi, “Sahari, Salem Wsaa” by Moulay Taieb Bouhanana, “My Father Is Not Dead” by Adil Fadili, “Fez Summer 55” by Abdelhai Laraki, “The Packs” by Kamal Lazraq and “Deserts” by Faouzi Bensaidi, concludes the CCM.
