Souss-Massa: Dams receive more than 11.285 million cubic meters in 24 hours

The filling rate of the dams located in the Souss-Massa region, as of today, Sunday, September 8, has reached more than 11.6 percent, recording a total water reserve of 86.245 million cubic meters, thanks to the recent rainfall that the region has experienced in the last two days, thanks to which it received this dam totaling 11.285 million cubic meters.
According to the daily status report of the dams issued by the Souss Hydrographic Basin Agency, 5 of the 8 dams in the Souss-Massa region have recorded an improvement in their conditions thanks to this rainfall.
Thus, the injection of the Ouluz dam in Taroudant province recorded 10.679 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of 12 percent, as it received a total of 4.846 million cubic meters in the last 24 hours.
The water reserve of the Mukhtar Soussi Dam has reached 1,980 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of 5 percent, for a future capacity of 1,741 million cubic meters.
The capacity of the Yusuf Ibn Tashfin Dam reached 34.164 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of 11.5 percent, as it received a total of 0.753 million cubic meters in the last 24 hours. As for the Moulay Abdallah Dam, it recorded a filling rate of 23.8 percent, with a water reserve of 21.566 million cubic meters, as it recently received a total of 3.928 million cubic meters.
While the Abd al-Mumen, Imi al-Khank dams and the inhabitants of Souss did not record any increase in their water reserves on a rainy day.
