Officially kicking off training at the City of Trades and Skills in Beni Mellal

Khatib El-Habil, the governor of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, supervised, this Friday morning, the official launch of training for the current season, at the city of vocations and skills of Beni Mellal, in the presence of the president of the Regional Council, the Regional Director of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion, a number of elected officials, heads of security services and heads of Decentralization services involved.
This occasion was an opportunity to review the various preparations of the Cité des Métiers et des Compétences to ensure a good start to the current training season in this new generation institution, which ended on a 15-hectare land area, and which, for the current year 2024-2025, welcomed the first class of student trainees, numbering 1,315 male and female trainees spread across the various specializations and training courses offered by this new generation establishment.
The City of Trades and Skills of the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region is considered a real catalyst for skills and a key driver of the development of vocational training in the region, through a wide range of specializations and innovative training, according to 10 poles (digital and artificial intelligence, management and commerce pole, industrial pole, agriculture pole, industries pole). Agri-food, traditional industry, construction and public works, tourism and hospitality, transport and logistics, arts and graphic industries.
This training platform, equipped with educational and living spaces, will offer training that meets the region’s needs in terms of necessary skills and is in line with its social and economic development, since it will offer an annual capacity of 2,515 educational places, and propose diversified and comprehensive training offers through 64 new divisions focused on areas with high operational potential.
