‘Funeral’ Dinner Sends 54 People to Chefchaouen Emergency Room

A dinner sent 54 people to the emergency room of the regional hospital in Chefchaouen late yesterday evening, Saturday.

Local sources reported that 54 people were exposed to mass poisoning after dining at a funeral at Asfarn roundabout in Tamrut community.

The accident caused alarm among local and health authorities in the region, who scrambled to quickly transport the victims to receive first aid, especially since most of them were children.
