Today, Sunday, September 8, the security services of the Chtouka-Ait Baha province, at the Sidi Toual beach in the Sidi Bibi territorial community, were able to thwart an attempted mass migration.
Heba Press sources indicated that during the operation, the gendarmerie seized a rubber boat and arrested 8 people who were secret candidates for immigration, most of whom came from the Souss-Massa provinces.
The detainees were taken to the gendarmerie centre for investigation before being brought before the competent public prosecutor.
It is known that the coasts of the Chtouka-Ait Baha region have experienced, in recent years, an unprecedented wave of candidates for illegal immigration to the Canaries, many of whom have been cancelled.
