The General Directorate of National Meteorology in an updated alert bulletin, this time not red but in a bulletin of vigilance level “orange”, that very heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusts of wind under thunderstorms are expected, today Monday September 9, 2024, in several Provinces of the Kingdom.

Thus, very heavy thunderstorms (80-150 mm) are expected in the Provinces of Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, Ouarzazate and Tata, the same phenomenon (60-90 mm) will affect the Provinces of Assa-Zag and Smara.

Thunderstorms (30-60 mm) will also affect the provinces of Figuig, Taroudant, Midelt, Azilal and Al Haouz as well as the provinces of Guelmim, Sidi Ifni and Tiznit.
