The launch of the expansion of Tangier Automobile City aims to attract investments and major projects

Tangier Automobile City (TAC) is currently undergoing a major expansion process, adding approximately 265 hectares to its allocated area, with the aim of improving the reception capacity and stimulating industrial growth in the region.

In this regard, machines, bulldozers and workers have started to implement the expansion works of the Tangier Automobile City project, considered one of the most important automobile manufacturing zones in the world.

Tangier Motor City currently covers an area of ​​720 hectares, with several expansions planned for the period 2024-2025, when it will become a global center of attraction for automobile manufacturing.

Tanger Automotive City focuses on the automotive sector (equipment manufacturers, logistics operators, subcontractors and services related to the sector), attracting international companies as well as new investors who will join the city after its expansion.

This large and important project is located close to the Renault Tanger Med site, the city benefiting from a network of equipment manufacturers well established in the region, as well as a logistics system offering the best local connectivity.

It is worth noting that the Tangier Automotive City “TAC” project is considered one of the tributaries of the industrial hub for the operational functions of six industrial activity zones, and it is supported by a subsidiary, Tangier Med Zones, which works to prepare, develop and manage many projects, such as the Tangier Free Zone project, Tangier Automative City, Tetouan Shore, Renault Tangier Med, Tetouan Park, the Fnideq economic activity zone.
