It has become a common phenomenon among the residents of the capital Oulad Ahrez, as the water from the taps of the houses of Berrechid is no longer drinkable due to its bad taste, smell and strange color.

Some people started to resort to filling 5-liter bottles with water from wells dug on the outskirts of Berrechid, and they were sold in several neighborhoods of the city at 5 dirhams per bottle. This trade was very popular and appreciated, especially in view of the current situation. the negligence of the municipal authorities in the face of the problem of the quality of drinking water.
