Floods: significant resources deployed to restore traffic in affected regions (ministry)

Significant resources have been deployed urgently by the Ministry of Equipment and Water to restore traffic following the floods and torrential rains recorded in certain regions.
In a press release, the ministry indicated that its services deployed nearly 200 people and 96 earthmoving machines in the provinces and regions of Zagora, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Tata, Midelt, Taroudant, Guelmim-Assa Zag, Figuig and Chichaoua.
According to the same source, 22 roads were reopened on Sunday at 3 p.m., including 4 national roads, 7 regional roads and 11 provincial roads, while work continues unabated on 16 other roads still blocked by floods.
The Tata region, which has been particularly affected, is receiving special attention and the teams and means of intervention have been reinforced, assures the ministry, which continues to mobilize all the human resources and various equipment necessary to unblock traffic as quickly as possible on the various road sections.
