Poor quality of services at Beni Mellal airport worries Moroccans in Italy

Abdel Latif El-Baz – Heba Press

It seems that the Moroccan community residing in Italy has had enough of the poor service at Beni Mellal airport.

A bleak picture is painted by community members about Beni Mellal airport, and there are constant complaints about the mistreatment inflicted on them by a Beni Mellal airport employee, who lives in a miserable situation, “without supervision”. Criticism has multiplied against Beni Mellal airport, regarding the services provided by a high-ranking employee inside the airport, which has sparked anger and discontent among Moroccan travelers residing in Italy and foreign tourists on Ryanair’s low-cost flights.

A complaint received by the Italian branch of Heba Press from a number of Moroccan citizens living in Italy indicates that the community is suffering greatly from poor services related to Beni Mellal airport, in addition to being subjected to insults and treated like second-class citizens.

It is worth noting that the summer season is experiencing a notable economic movement due to the influx of hundreds of Moroccans in the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region, whose number is estimated to be significant, which requires encouraging these Moroccans to continue their connection with their homeland, in order to raise the national economy and strengthen the spirit of belonging to the saying of the homeland.
