King Mohammed VI congratulates Moroccan champions crowned at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, sent cables of congratulations and praise to the Maghreb Paralympic champions crowned at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
His Majesty sent royal cables to champion Fatima Zahraa Al-Idrissi, who won the gold medal in the marathon (T12) and broke a new world record, as well as the silver medal in the 1,500m in the (T13) category, and runner Ayman Al-Hadawi, who won the gold medal in the 400m in the (T47) category and set a new world record. He also won the bronze medal in the 100m in the same category, and then to champion Moncef Boga, who won the gold medal in the 400m in the (T12) category.
His Majesty the King extended his warmest congratulations to these Paralympic champions, noting, His Majesty, their honorable achievement for them in particular and for Moroccan sport, and wishing them “the best in continuing their hard work and perseverance, with the same determination and ambition”, to advance their promising careers to the highest levels and “to always manage to fly with the national flag on international podiums”.
In similar congratulatory telegrams addressed to the champions, Maryam Al-Noghi (marathon – T12 class), Yousra Karim (discus throw – F41 class), Abdul-Ilah Kani (shot put – F53 class), Ayoub Sadni (400m race – T47 class), and Ezz Al-Din Al-Nuwairi (shot put – F-34 category) won silver medals, as well as bronze medalist champions Saeeda Amoudi (shot put – F-34 category), Raja Aqarmash (parataekwondo – over 65 kg – K-44 category) and Ayoub Adwish (parataekwondo under 63 kg – K-44 category), Zakaria Al-Dirham (shot put – F-33 category), and Al-Amine Chentouf (marathon –). Category T-12), His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, praised the tireless efforts made by these champions to represent Moroccan sport, wishing them every success in their sporting career, in order to achieve their ambitions “to get on the podium and raise the Moroccan flag high in the various international sporting stands.”
