In the coming weeks, Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit is expected to travel to the city of Marrakech to meet with several local officials, including elected officials and leaders, to determine the progress of development projects, including those included in royal projects and others related to projects intended for investors.
According to the newspaper’s sources, Laftit will also meet during these meetings with representatives of several ministerial sectors, as well as elected officials, in order to determine where certain structured projects are stuck, in particular that of “Renewable Metropolis”, which includes several structured projects in the districts of the Red City.
Observers believe that Laftit’s visit and his meeting with municipal authorities will help speed up the search for solutions and listen to the points of view of the various stakeholders, in order to catch up on the delay that accompanied the hesitation of certain projects, and to accelerate their pace in order to win the bet of the next events that Marrakech will host and turn the wheel of the Marrakech economy.
