A resident of Douar Oukrad, in the province of Tata, recalled the details of the heavy rainfall recorded in the region on the night of Saturday to Sunday, which caused material and human losses.
In an interview with Heba Press, a local resident revealed that a few consecutive hours of heavy rains were enough to cause dizzying and powerful floods and torrential rains.
The same spokesman added that a cemetery and a shrine disappeared due to heavy flooding, in addition to the disappearance of homes, fields, livestock and other material losses, which added to the toll of the dead and missing.
