Guelmim.. The gendarmerie foils an attempt at illegal immigration

Yesterday Monday, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in the territorial capital of Qasabi, in the province of Guelmim, were able to foil an attempt at illegal immigration.

According to a local source, the gendarmes arrested more than 30 Moroccans and sub-Saharan Africans as they tried to migrate from the coast of Guelmim to the Spanish islands.

This operation comes a few days after the tragedy of the capsizing of a boat of illegal immigrants off the coast of Guelmim and the drowning of all the victims on board.
