Garsif.. Trap a well-known alcohol promoter

The judicial police officers of the regional security zone of Guersif were able to search a house used as a center for the illegal sale and promotion of alcoholic beverages in the Al-Nakad neighborhood.

The operation comes after careful monitoring of the movements of one of the region’s most important promoters, known for his multiple precedents in alcohol trafficking.

During this search, the security services managed to seize significant quantities of alcoholic beverages, which confirms the worsening of this illegal activity in the region.

According to well-informed sources, the arrested person was the subject of national search warrants related to the activities of smuggling and promotion of alcoholic beverages, and the suspect was taken to the regional security directorate in Guersif, where he was placed under theoretical custody measures based on instructions from the competent public prosecutor. Investigations are currently underway to determine the extent of his involvement in a network related to smuggling and promotion of alcohol.

Security authorities are seeking to address all manifestations of organized crime in the area, especially in light of growing complaints from neighborhood residents who are suffering the effects of this type of activity.
