Parliament…begins receiving requests for press accreditation

Both houses of Parliament have announced the start of receiving applications for obtaining or renewing press accreditation with Parliament for the 2024-2025 legislative year.

A statement to Parliament explains that national and international media institutions and platforms can address their requests either to the control office of the House of Representatives or the House of Advisors, or send them by email to presse@parlement.ma, during the period extending until October 5, 2024.

The same source indicated that the accreditation requests will be studied in accordance with the joint decision issued by the offices of the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors in this matter, provided that the application file includes the following documents:

1. For each media institution:

A special accreditation request form according to form 1, to be completed and signed by the publication director of the media or his representative in Morocco for foreign media.

2. For each professional journalist:

A – A special accreditation application form according to Form 2, to be completed and signed by the person concerned,

B – A copy of the professional press card for the year 2024,

T – A copy of the national identity card,

D- A recent photograph.

The communication indicates that further information can be obtained by visiting the electronic portal of Parliament www.parlement.ma or by contacting the services in charge of the press in both chambers.
