Accountants from the General Directorate of Taxes have surprised many businessmen and large companies in Casablanca in recent days, as they descended en masse to investigate the accounts of these companies and individuals.

In this regard, the General Directorate of Taxes has sent a large number of its accountants to the largest companies in the economic capital, especially those that have not been included in tax audits over the last three years.

According to special data, the General Directorate of Taxes is investigating the invoices of companies, especially after the recent spread of the phenomenon of fictitious, falsified and inflated invoices. It has also started to examine the accounts and finances of these companies in order to act and force them to pay the real value of taxes on their profits.
