The Ministry of Culture allocates more than 7 million dirhams to support musical and singing projects

The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication announced the allocation of 7 million and 8 thousand dirhams to support 68 projects in the fields of music, song, performing arts and choreographic art for the year 2024.
The ministry indicated, in a statement, that the Committee for Supporting Cultural and Artistic Projects in the Field of Music, Singing, Performing Arts and Choreographic Art met, between July 10 and September 2 of this month, to decide on the nominated files to support cultural projects, noting that the number of projects reached by the Secretariat The committee, through the digital platform, reached 216 files.
The supported projects were divided between musical and singing production (61 projects worth 6.378 million dirhams), promotion and dissemination of musical and singing products (three projects worth 430 thousand dirhams), participation in international music festivals (one project worth 60 thousand dirhams) and artistic residencies (two projects worth 80 thousand dirhams) and choreographic and performing arts (one project worth 60 thousand dirhams).
The committee was formed to support cultural and artistic projects in the field of music, singing, performing arts and choreographic art, with Samir Bahajeen as chairman, and Najia Al-Atawi, Laila Shaker, Lamia Azizi, Younis Al-Taleb, Muhammad Al-Zaki, Muhammad Damo, Amin Haddaf and Tawfiq Faridi as members.
