An ambush by the gendarmes puts an end to the activity of a gang specializing in the theft of copper wires in Mohammedia

Members of the Royal Gendarmerie of Shallalat, in the suburbs of Mohammedia, were able to arrest members of a criminal gang active in the theft of copper wires belonging to telecommunications companies, after setting up an elaborate ambush.

According to special data, members of the gendarmerie in the Cascades area were able to attack people who were preparing to steal a large quantity of copper wires for telephone and Internet connections. The investigation revealed that they worked in an organized network and sold the stolen goods. a commercial store at the Al-Matalashiyat market in the Sidi Moumen district of Casablanca.

In coordination with security personnel and the public prosecutor, the store in question was searched and large quantities of stolen copper wires were discovered. All the accused were taken into custody to conduct further investigation with them before presenting them to the attention of the court.
