Official government spokesman Mustafa Paytas spoke about the crisis of medical and pharmacy students, which coincides with the start of the new academic season.

Paytas said in response to questions from journalists at the conference that followed the work of the government council: “We have discussed this issue a lot, and I also discussed it in detail at a special conference, and a number of meetings have been held on this issue.

Paytas reiterated that the government is committed to what has been presented on this issue.

Medical and pharmacy students continue to boycott their studies and training due to the government’s failure to meet their demands.

Medical students from various faculties in the Kingdom boycotted the resit exams scheduled for last Thursday.

A source among medical and pharmacy students reported that the boycott of the resit exams was a success, noting that the boycott rate exceeded 90% nationally.
