Crime prompts Al-Salem residents to appeal to Interior Ministry to speed up creation of security committee
Heba Press – Casablanca
Crime rates have recently increased in the city of Hadd Al-Sawalem, despite the considerable efforts made by members of the Royal Gendarmerie given the limited human and logistical capacities.
The rising crime rate has worried residents of Hadd Al-Salem, who have called for the intervention of the Interior Ministry to speed up the establishment of a National Security Commission, especially with the expansion of the city and the density of its population.
Considering the great urban development of Al-Salem and the expansion of its geographical area due to the construction of new separate residential neighborhoods, the establishment of a security commission has become a fundamental and urgent requirement for residents who are afraid to go out at night, even in front of their house doors.
