Major security reinforcements foil the “Great Escape 15/9” plan to Spain
Heba Press – Casablanca
The proactive strategy adopted by the Moroccan authorities has caused the failure of the plan demanded by a group of pages and social media groups, for which the name “15/9” was chosen to indicate the date of implementation of the plan.
Since the news was announced, hundreds of members of the National Security of all colours, the Royal Gendarmerie, auxiliary forces and border control personnel have been deployed at the various border posts and along the roads leading to them, particularly on the outskirts of the two occupied breaches of the border: Ceuta and Melilla.
Intensive security campaigns in the streets of northern cities, including Fnideq and M’diq, which resulted in the arrest of many minors and those wishing to emigrate illegally, contributed to the failure of the “Great Escape of September 15” plan, noting that the Spanish side, in turn, doubled its surveillance at the border with intensive reinforcements of border guard elements to control any attempt at infiltration by the “Haraka”.
