At a time when educational institutions opened their doors to receive students at the beginning of the current season in the interest of academic success, some of them preferred to carry their bags, empty them of their books, take “provisions” of food and drinks, and flee to the city of Fnideq to immigrate to the other side, and videos revealed on social communication, cases of fathers and mothers heading north in order to look for their sons and daughters, in a dangerous precedent for Moroccan families, of students who preferred to leave their schools to surf the waves, influenced by the unknown calls launched for a mass migration to occupied Ceuta.
We know that illegal immigration is not new today, but rather has a history, but in the past it was not as intense or as serious, nor did it involve age groups of children.
Morocco’s strategic location is due to the fact that it represents a crossing point between Europe and the Maghreb countries to the north, and between Europe and the rest of African countries to the south. Over the years, it has been a form of migration, especially from sub-Saharan countries, for them, Morocco represents the last stopover for immigrants preparing to cross to the other side in the hope of improving their living conditions and raising their social status. , and in search of a decent life.
Illegal immigration has attracted great interest. Morocco has been among the countries that have hosted many meetings and conferences. Indeed, immigration has been a security problem for all African and European countries in order to limit its growth and has become the most difficult barrier to cross towards Europe. it costs a lot of effort and money to protect it. Europe is full of illegal immigrants, and perhaps the scale of migration attempts across the coast is the best proof that Morocco today needs great support from its European partners.
As for the migration of minors to Europe, it requires a thorough study by specialists and the development of future policies to find solutions, because in recent years, with social media, the impact on this group has become easier and more dangerous, because there are dozens of Moroccan minors in Spain, and even if they return, they will be psychologically devastated, they need care centers and courses.
However, during the Fnideq incident, some families were not aware of their presence there for the sake of Al-Harik, which prompted other families to follow suit, which is a family collapse that is dangerous for society. Whoever sets foot in Europe will not find gold or silver, and even European residents began to come to live in Morocco, but via planes and airport gates.
