The decomposed body of an unidentified person was found on the beach of the village of Arkaman in Nador province, more precisely in the area of the Taourira beach peninsula.
According to a well-informed source, the body was in an advanced state of decomposition and was headless, making it difficult to identify its owner.
The same source indicates that the body could be that of a victim of illegal immigration, and despite the efforts of local authorities and the Royal Gendarmerie, the identity of the deceased has not been determined due to the advanced state of decomposition.
After being informed of the incident, local authorities intervened in coordination with the Royal Gendarmerie and the auxiliary forces of the Coast Guard, and the body was transferred to the morgue of the Hassani hospital in Nador, in order to undergo a precise medical autopsy that would allow to determine the causes of death and to identify it, on the orders of the competent public prosecutor.
