The security services of the city of Taroudant put an end yesterday, Sunday, September 15, to the “Crisis” series, launched by a young man in his thirties with a criminal record, after his arrest while he intended to carry out his criminal plan which targeted a number of people in different neighborhoods of the city.
The prisoner would stop the women, threaten them with a knife and steal their belongings. In some cases, he would violently assault them when they refused to hand over their possessions.
Complaints continued against the security services, prompting officials to review the progress of the search for the “ghost”, as he disappears like lightning every time he commits a crime, his way of moving and his different clothes for each raid are difficult, and he carefully chooses the places to stalk his victims. His tactic was to hide quickly and not stop in a specific place. All this information was gathered from the cases he encountered. An elaborate ambush was organized that hastened his fall into the custody of the security. and the weapons he used in his raids as well as some stolen items were confiscated.
In addition, the suspect was kept in theoretical custody pending an investigation by security agents under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to uncover all the criminal acts attributed to him.
