Garsif.. My friend is launching agricultural development projects

This morning, Tuesday, September 17, Mohamed Seddiqi, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, Fisheries, Water and Forests, made a field visit to the eastern province of Guercif, to launch projects aimed at developing more profitable and more climate-resilient production sectors as part of solidarity agriculture projects for the Green Generation Strategy.

The visit aimed to launch the process of distributing 46 tons of saffron bulbs and planting 100 hectares of cochineal-resistant cacti, as part of the integrated rural development support program in the eastern mountainous regions.

The total investment of the program amounts to 411 million dirhams, which will benefit more than 100,000 farmers in the Eastern region and more than 40,000 farmers in the province of Guercif over a period of 7 years.
