Some gas stations resort to innovative tricks in order to make extra profits by storing large quantities of gasoline and petrol purchased at low prices, and not selling them for the last two days before changing the price we are used to once every 15 days.
Car owners at a number of gas stations, especially the day before the price change, are surprised by the phrase “You are no longer with us, my brother”, because the owners of these stations resort to storing fuel in order to resell it the next day at a higher price after reaching the reference prices.
These manipulations have prompted a number of citizens to seek help from the authorities and call for government intervention to put an end to such practices, especially in some cities and regions where there are a limited number of gas stations, which locally control the fuel market as they please, without accountability and sometimes sell at a higher price with very discounted prices in the rest of the Kingdom.
