During his speech at the sixth thematic workshop on the theme “Employment and talent management: mobility of human capital and migration”, planned as part of the summer university workshops for young people of the Authenticity and Modernity Party in Bouznika at the end of the week, Minister Younès Skouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Businesses, Employment and Skills, discussed the current situation of the labor market.
Al-Sakuri said: “The government inherited more than 1,400,000 unemployed from previous governments, and the Covid pandemic has further worsened the country’s economic situation and the loss of jobs of many citizens,” stressing in the middle of his explanation of these reasons that the bet was made when he took charge of the portfolio of the Ministry of Employment. To find solutions for citizens affected by the Covid crisis, a financial package of 2.5 billion dirhams was allocated to implement the Orash program over a period of two years.
The main person in charge of the employment portfolio in the current government continued his speech by addressing the objectives of implementing the Urash program, saying: “The objective was to restore a number of jobs lost, due to the Covid crisis, while waiting for the dynamism of the economic wheel to improve and investment to return to its normal state of health in order to increase the pace of employment.
At the same time, he added that work has been done accurately and efficiently to implement the “Urash” program without resorting to consulting firms to provide the financial value of the financial envelope allocated to support employment.
